CrunzhMonitor 1.7.1

CrunzhMonitor is a small program to check the availability of your webserver. The first time you run CrunzhMonitor you get the following dialog:

Here you type in the domain name of the server to monitor, in the example I want to monitor www.crunzh.com so I type in http://www.crunzh.com. The next field is how often you want CrunzhMonitor to check the server. The default is every 5 minutes.

If you want to receive email where the is a problem with the server you are monitoring check the box called Activate status email on errors and fill out the fields with your email address and server.

If the checkbox called Minimize to system tray is ticked CrunzhMonitor will appear in the system tray by the clock and make notifications if it encounter problems.

The Monitor for changes checkbox makes CrunzhMonitor check the result of every test against the first check and report a error if they don't match. It is not needed to check for errors, CrunzhMonitor will automatically detect if it for example recieves a 404 Fil not found page. It is only to check for changing content.

Then click OK to save the settings and the main program then appears.

Status is either OK or Failed depending on the last attempt to contact the server.

Time of last error, is the data and time of the last error.

Last error is simply the last error the occurred when trying to contact the server.

Error log is the log of errors for the current session.
